2-249 students can be enrolled in the ANCHOR course with this plan.

The ANCHOR for life course is a motivational talk for 6th-12th grade students promoting positive perspectives for meaningful living in addition to building resiliency.

Each student will be given a questionnaire before and after the course to assess suicidal risk. The school will receive feedback about students who may be in need of more services based on their responses. This is in compliance with national standards of best practices for suicide prevention in schools.

The course is broken up into 5-10 minute segments with a short quiz for each portion to ensure participation with the material. Warning signs for suicide and the national hotline number will be posted for students to see which is also in compliance with national standards of care for suicide prevention in schools.

A certificate of completion can be printed for each student to have for their records.
